About Roomanise

It started with one question: will it fit?

Roomanise is a room visualiser for furniture retailers. It shows shoppers your products in the room they actually live in, at the size they actually are.

A lived-in bedroom photographed on a phone: an unmade bed, side tables and slippers on the carpet.
Where it starts: a real room

Furniture is sold from photographs taken in rooms that aren't yours. A sofa styled in a twelve-metre lounge. A bed shot against a white background. Then it arrives, and it's bigger than it looked, or wrong against the floor, or it simply doesn't fit beside the door.

Roomanise exists to close that gap. A shopper takes one photo of their own room — mess, odd corners and all. We measure it, clear out what's there, and place the retailer's real products in it at their real size. Then we turn the result into a photograph good enough to buy from.

No headset, no app, no tape measure. Just the room they actually live in, and the piece they're actually thinking of buying.

We build it for retailers, because that's where the decision happens: on your product page, in your colours, a tap away from your cart.

What we see in one photo

Measured, not guessed.

Every room starts as an ordinary phone photo. Here's what happens to it before a single piece of furniture goes in — using the same bedroom you saw on the home page.

The original phone photo of the bedroom.
01 · The photo

Just a phone photo

No markers, no special lens, no measurements typed in. One ordinary photo of the room as it is.

The same photo as a depth map: near things light, far things dark.
02 · The depth

How far away everything is

Every pixel gets a distance from the camera, so we know how deep the room runs and where everything in it stands.

The cleared room with the measured floor drawn as a half-metre grid and the walls outlined.
03 · Floor and walls

A room in metres

From that, we find the floor and the walls as real surfaces, in metres. It's what your furniture stands on — and what stops it.

04 · Your piece

At its real size

Each product goes in from its catalogue dimensions. A bed that's 2.1 metres long is 2.1 metres long in their room too.

What we believe

Four rules we don't bend.

They decide what we build, and what we leave out.

  1. i.

    Real size, or nothing.

Every product is placed from its catalogue dimensions, on a floor we've measured. If it wouldn't fit in real life, it doesn't fit in the photo either.

  2. ii.

    Their room, not a showroom.

We start from the room the shopper actually lives in — the unmade bed, the awkward corner, the light they've got — because that's the room the furniture is going into.

  3. iii.

Quick enough to use while shopping.

Seconds at every step, not minutes. If it isn't fast, people won't use it on the way to a decision.

  4. iv.

    Your brand in front.

Shoppers see your store, your colours and your products. We stay in the background, where a good tool belongs.

See it with your range.

We'll set up a working demo with your own products, so you and your team can try it in your own homes.
